How to apply?
Apply and Register in a few steps.
Candidates to the PCCP master program must hold a Bachelor degree in Physical Chemistry, Chemistry, Physics, or an equivalent diploma recognized by the University of Bordeaux. They must demonstrate a good knowledge of fundamental chemistry and physics, and above all, be open-minded and motivated for careers with an international vocation. They must be able to work collaboratively in an international context, and demonstrate communication skills in written and spoken English.

Step 1. Application to the PCCP Graduate Program LIGHT S&T

Candidatures have to be sent by email to masterpccp@u-bordeaux.fr with copies to frederic.castet@u-bordeaux.fr and veronique.jubera@u-bordeaux.fr. Mandatory documents are:

A cover letter (written in English)

A detailed curriculum vitae (in English)

All transcripts obtained during your BSc (in French or translated in English)​

A copy of your passport
-
Any further document you consider useful for the selection committee.
You will receive a response on your eligibility within 2-3 weeks after of submitting your application.
Step 2. Interview
If you are eligible to join the PCCP Master program, a 30-minute online interview will be held with the selection committee. The interview will be conducted in English. You will be asked about your previous studies, your motivation to join the Master, and your plans for the future. At the end of this interview, the selection committee will make a final decision regarding your admission.
You will receive an answer about your admission to the degree within a few days after the interview.
In case of acceptance, an official letter will be provided to facilitate all administrative procedures.
Application to an "Excellence" scholarship
Scholarships (800€/month) may be awarded to the top 20% of applicants based on academic criteria.
French and foreign students are evaluated on the same basis. To apply for a scholarship, you must:

attach two letters of recommendation from former professors or supervisors
